"There are Dreamers. There are Doers. There are Dreamers that DO." ~Coach Joan
Every thing you do in life starts out as a seed, an idea. Some seeds are planted when we are young and some during the course of the journey of life. I love to walk, and have done so for many years, having a dog, like Buddy has been fun for that. Walking has many health benefits, enhances overall Well Being, reduces risk of Coronary Heart Disease, improves Blood Pressure, helps with the fight against Diabetes & Obesity to name a few. Walking is the easiest and cheapest way to get in shape and clear your mind. A few years ago I heard someone say they were walking all the streets in Milford, the seed was planted. It has been knocking inside for awhile now. Now it is time to Walk the Streets of Milford.
Then I started thinking there is a lot of miles and streets in Milford, why not have the walking bring awareness to different things. In this world there are so many causes you could bring to light, there is Cancer, Heart Disease, Abuse, Mental Illness, Depression, Veterans, Homeless, Pets, Literacy, Seniors, and thousands more. Each individual has a cause that is close to there heart and they are passionate about. That is what makes the world an amazing place. Overall Wellness is the main objective of the walk, Body, Mind and Spirit, life is about having balance.
